I never planned onbeing a photographer. I didn’t go to a fancy photo school and I didn’t

study under an artistic mentor. I picked up a camera one day and started

taking it on trips. It didn’t take long and my photo business kept me so

busy I had to quit pounding nails and just shoot photos. Now, I travel

the world capturing stunning imagery of skiers, snowboarders, hunters, bikers,

climbers, runners and fly fisherman doing what they do love to do. When I’m

home I spend as much time as I can with my amazingly understanding wife and

overly energetic son who are the fuel behind my motivation.

The eclectic grouping of imagery here depicts some of my favorite shots in

the arenas I live to photograph. I find my subject matter focused to

certain activities that I participate in regularly. This keeps me

intimate with the subject and able to pick out the details that create meaning

in others who view them.
